Whilst travelling through South America recently, my attention was drawn to tribal art and jewellery and that is where I focused the research. My latest collection is a fulfillment of my experiences and inspirations brought together in the shape of jewellery.
My work is based on the contrast between tribal and western culture. As animal bones are a recurring motif among many tribes, I have decided to create a western response to it by replacing bone with an artificial material, resin. Bone itself is a perfect structure combining aesthetics with functionality and elegance. All of the resin bone casts are fashioned and joined using different metal chains and wires, both precious and nonprecious.
I am hoping to create something unique and interesting but wearable at the same time, I am open to work on
